Katie Taylor wants to ’shut everyone up‘ by beating Delphine Persoon again in rematch

Katie Taylor insists she is not“ducking“ Delfine Persoon and plans to“shut everyone up“ by beating the Belgian once more in a rematch following summer.
When she faces WBO super-lightweight title-holder Christina Linardatou in Manchester, taylor will bid to be a two-weight world winner on November 2.
If she beat the dozens and Persoon together 96-94 and 95-95, 96-94 the star became lightweight winner in June, however there was a controversy surrounding the outcome.
Her attention is on defeating Linardatou and then she would love to face the Amanda Serrano of Puerto Rico, although taylor admits Persoon warrants a rematch.
„First I must conquer Christina Linardatou, and once I do I hope to possess Amanda Serrano second and the Persoon rematch in the summer sometime. That will be my perfect path,“ Taylor stated.
„[The Persoon fight] was a touch-and-go fight, an all-purpose war actually for 10 rounds, probably among the most fascinating fights I’ve ever been involved , likely a bit too stimulating for my own liking!
„It is each fighter’s dream to become the undisputed winner, that is the pinnacle of the sport right there, therefore I was really, very enthusiastic.
„To predict the battle a robbery is a complete disgrace in itself actually. I am aware that’s exactly precisely why it is a struggle that deserves a rematch and it was a battle that is close.
„I’m not one for diving or jelqing any obstacle, I believe my career has shown that up to now. I love the big fights and I can not wait for that rematch, to set the story straight.
„I look forward to beating her more , to shut everyone up basically!
„I was always aware it was going to be a very close fight and I overcame that. I came away with the belts and deservedly so.“
Taylor would like to be known as the female fighter of her creation at her weight class, and that she understands a victory over Persoon would go a long way.
She added:“It is about heritage, it’s about history-making. I would like to be known as the greatest and I’m willing to show myself every time that I step into the ring, and that’s the reason precisely why it’s so good to be involved in those fights.
„These are fantastic struggles to get before me – but first and foremost it is November two, and my attention is on this competition.“
Taylor’s clash with the Linardatou of Greece remarks a Manchester Arena bill that includes what’s defined as the last bout of the livelihood of former WBC lightweight champion Anthony Crolla, contrary to a competition, also Australian Blake Caparello being fought by Joshua Buatsi.
Taylor is thought to be headlining a card.
„I never believed when I sat down [promoter] Eddie Hearn three decades ago that I might be in this position, to headline a big show like this,“ Taylor said.
„To be around the exact identical series as Anthony Crolla, his farewell struggle, Joshua Buatsi, along with the remaining fighters on the card, so that can be such a special moment for me personally.
„I really feel like I have broken down a great deal of boundaries through the years. Certainly when I turned pro I wished to alter people’s perceptions of the sport, along with the support I have gotten in the united kingdom over the last couple of years has been so unique. They really just see me as yet another fighter.
„To have this opportunity, to headline this series and become a two-weight world champion is extraordinary.“
