On May 19, eight Superstars will compete in this year’s men’s WWE Money in the Bank ladder match in the hopes to scale the ladder, retrieve the briefcase and procure a title shot which guarantees a near world championship reign.
Just as with the women’s match, the guys participating this year are all very gifted, but they’re not equals in terms of their odds of winning.
Some have better shots at getting the next Mr. Money in the Bank, while some have not reached noteworthy enough status for WWE to trust them with chief event pushes.
As the field is set and the clock is ticking toward the pay-per-view, let us take a look at the eight Superstars involved and rate their odds of winning come WWE Money in the Bank 2019.
The whole purpose of an underdog is they are seen as not having much of a chance to win. Regrettably that is his function in this game.
It’s not from the realm of possibility for a shock to happen and for someone like Ali–a very skilled performer–to get an out-of-this-world increase to his career like a MITB win, however it’s extremely unlikely in contrast to the other options.
Ali has yet to hold a midcard or tag team title and was passed around for the Cruiserweight Championship, so WWE has not exactly shown it trusts him with the responsibilities of being a champion.
This year could be fantastic for him, particularly as he’d make a perfect intercontinental winner somewhere down the line, but even that is out of his reach right now.
He’ll wear an impressive show in this match and might even steal the spotlight, but being the sleeper selection is not the best place to maintain.
