On May 19, eight Superstars will compete in this year’s men’s WWE Money in the Bank ladder match in the hopes to scale the ladder, retrieve the briefcase and secure a title shot that all but guarantees a near world championship collapse.
Just as with the women’s game, the guys participating this year are all very talented, but they’re not equals in terms of their odds of winning.
Some have significantly better shots at becoming the next Mr. Money in the Bank, but some have not reached noteworthy enough status for WWE to trust them together with main occasion forces.
Since the field is set and the clock is moving toward the pay-per-view, let us take a look at the eight Superstars involved and rate their likelihood of winning come WWE Money in the Bank 2019.
The whole purpose of a underdog is that they are seen as not getting much of a opportunity to win. Regrettably that is his role in this match.
It’s not out of the realm of chance for a jolt to occur and for someone like Ali–an incredibly proficient performer–to get an out-of-this-world increase to his career just like a MITB win, but it’s extremely unlikely compared to the other choices.
Ali has yet to maintain a midcard or tag team name and has been passed over for the Cruiserweight Championship, therefore WWE hasn’t just revealed it frees him with the responsibilities of being a winner.
This season could be fantastic for him, particularly as he’d make a ideal intercontinental winner somewhere down the line, but even that is out of his reach at the moment.
He will wear an impressive show in this game and may even steal the spotlight, but being the sleeper pick isn’t the best position to maintain.
