As he steps up his singles comeback andy Murray has obtained a entry for next month’s Shanghai Masters.
Will return in Zhuhai to the ATP Tour, beginning on 23 September.
He will then play at the China Open and has now committed to a third successive week of activity.
Murray is a four-time finalist and three-time winner in Shanghai, Asia’s only Masters occasion.

„I’m quite looking forward to be moving back into Shanghai, a tournament I’ve had success at before,“ explained Murray.
„Thanks to the tournament to get a wildcard, it is great to have the ability to keep my comeback and play more tennis in China. Shanghai is a wonderful city – that I really feel comfortable there and the fans are always supportive.“
Having started his journey back in rebounds, Murray played with his first singles match in Cincinnati because surgery last month, dropping in the first round – to Richard Gasquet – ranked 41 in the world.
Then he dropped in the very first hurdle in Winston-Salem – to Tennys Sandgren – ranked 68 before progressing through two rounds when he fell down in Majorca to Challenger flat.
